Hi there!
I am a full-stack UX designer focused on creating captivating and meaningful user experiences for digital media and emerging technologies. I am well-versed in the Adobe CS, various prototyping tools, and game engines. I am also personable, passionate about design, and I enjoy the entire process of collaborating with a team to find creative solutions to complex design challenges.
I currently work for an exciting VR/AR startup as a UX designer. I work on fast-paced projects for various Fortune 500 clients. My role as a UX designer can include experience design as well as motion graphics, visual design, and rapid prototyping. My duties at my present company also includes R&D. We devote extensive time to R&D coming up with new ideas for projects and exploring how to utilize cutting edge industry tools, techniques, and hardware in unique and exciting ways.
I majored in Interactive Media Design at the University of Washington. The IMD major is an interdisciplinary approach to interaction design with emphasis on studio practice and team projects. I worked with various teams in high stress environments designing, prototyping, researching, meeting rigorous deadlines, and developing creative solutions to complex problems. The two year intensive curriculum included:
-
user experience design/research
-
human-centered design
-
game design
-
web & mobile app design
-
agile project management
The major prepared me to be a well-rounded digital designer with a strong foundation in UX. IMD seniors were also given the opportunity to choose additional areas of specialization. I used my senior year to learn the tools of the game design pipeline. Including:
-
game engines (UE4/Unity)
-
3D modeling (3DSMax/Zbrush)
-
material creation (Quixel/Substance)
-
game design principles
I live in Seattle, Washington and make regular pilgrimages to Portland for the food (and to visit family).
My hobbies include:

-
gaming
-
hiking
-
attending VR/AR events
-
hugging my dogs and cats
-
making nerdy fan art
